Do you feel that strength is at the limit? Do you look like a small steam boiler ready to explode any minute? Do you feel like a “compressed spring”? And at the same time, you are not a policeman, not a sapper, nor a scout? Are you MOM? Everything is clear - you have the usual postpartum overwork!

The first thing to do is make sure that there are no more serious problems (read articles 1 and 2). If everything is in order and we need a rest, then we consider how to do it with minimal losses. We take two options as a basis: cardinal and everyday.

Cardinal- A change of scenery.

The easiest thing to recommend and what really works. I foresee objections about the absence of nannies for the child. There is a counter argument - it is better to somehow slip up and agree with her husband - a friend - parents - acquaintances about taking on the temporary duties of a mother, rather than tearing off accumulated fatigue in the form of irritation or anger on a child. We use the principle: “If you want to, you will find time, you will not want a reason.”So, after the issue with whom to leave the baby is resolved, we are looking for where to go. Optimally, if it is something unusual. For example, a trip to another city. Or visit the rink :). That is not what you are used to.

The following algorithm works here: the psyche gets used to everyday duties and they become annoying. Moreover, it’s not the duties themselves that irritate, but the fact that you cannot not do them. And then there is the opportunity to do something radically different. And maybe, walking somewhere in Chernigov, you suddenly understand how you miss the feeding of the baby. Or on a walk next to the house. And now you should not do this, but you want ... A look from an unusual angle can change the usual perception.

Daily- Restoration during the day.

For this, special, relaxing breath is indispensable. I think that in the middle of the day there are still moments when the baby is sleeping and you have 20-30 minutes of free time. Believe me, it is better to use it for recovery than for the usual ways of rest.

Normally, three different zones are involved in the breathing process: the upper part of the lungs, the so-called “clavicular” breathing, the middle part — the thoracic, and the lower part — abdominal breathing. And all these zones have different effects on the emotional state.For example, breathing only in the thoracic region activates, awakens; but abdominal breathing, on the contrary, calms.

To learn how to breathe correctly, you must lie on any flat and hard surface (you can put a tourist rug, or bedspread). Put one hand on your chest and the other on your stomach. With proper abdominal breathing, your hand on your stomach will rise in tune with your breathing, and the second hand on your chest will remain stationary. When you have learned to breathe only with your stomach, you can begin to do the exercise. Breathing time should be at least 5-7 minutes. Optimally - 15 minutes. It must be remembered that the effectiveness of the exercise depends on your concentration on it, therefore, as we said, it is better to breathe when the child is sleeping.
